Milagro Senior Pet Refuge Inc. (ein: 20-3538510) is a non-profit organization comprised of numerous pre-approved guardian homes that provide high quality, longterm care for rescued senior cats and dogs in a peaceful, loving, home environment. Milagro senior pets are not adopted out - they stay at Milagro for the remainder of their lives. Most of the senior pets that come to Milagro have suffered a lifetime of horrific abuse and neglect and are often very near death. Milagro Senior Pet Refuge works diligently to restore these precious animals to good health and happiness and to provide them uncompromising love for what little life remains for them.

Within the Milagro Senior Pet Refuge Inc. is a secondary program called The Genesis Pets. The Genesis Pets is a large email networking project that serves to connect the general public as well as corporations willing to help with homeless animals that have not been taken in by any local rescue organization, typically due to a lack of space or available fosters. The Genesis Pets is an independent effort, not limited by or affiliated with any rescue organization.

501(c)(3) application has been made for Milagro Senior Pet Refuge Inc. Once tax-exempt status is achieved, Milagro will solicit donations of all types, and sponsorship of the rescued pets. Milagro Senior Pet Refuge Inc. also supports local spay/neuter programs.
