About Us - Business Minority

Business Minority is a "Service to the Community" for the founder, Steve Comer, President and CEO of SCW Internet Technologies.

Steve Comer said of Business Minority in a personal interview, "I have been successful in my business, and would like to pass on an opportunity to those who wish to work, and those doing good works. Forming a free Internet directory where businesses owned by charities, minorities and women could be seen and reviewed by others, is a natural for me, since I am in an Internet supporting business. I never dreamed that simply wanting to help others would rally so many good people, eager to support Business Minority with their donations of time, talents, and good will."

Business Minority first appeared on the Internet September 18, 2005. The only people aware of the site were those who knew the founder, Steve Comer, or those who had learned about it through word of mouth. Immediately, business owners began to sign up as members. The web site is currently developing as needs become apparent, and visitors make suggestions. We welcome your suggestions and participation. This site belongs to the community, and will be successful because of your participation in becoming a member and utilizing the opportunities that Business Minoirty provides. There are few truly free business opportunities in life, membership in Business Minority is one of them, for those who qualify.

Our goal is to provide the nation wide business community with information about charities, minority and woman-owned businesses. The Federal Government, through the Small Business Administration, publishes a Diversity List of Minority-owned and Women-owned Small Businesses, which includes only those with a certain earning level per year. Business Minority offers ALL minority-owned businesses an opportunity to be known. Business Minority truly does provide an opportunity for those businesses not seen otherwise.
